The Colorado Springs Switchbacks of the USL-Pro finished their season last week, falling to Oklahoma Energy FC in the Western Conference Semifinals on penalty kicks. While the headlines spoke of a disheartening and disappointing loss, the club achieved much in its inaugural season.
As the Switchbacks now turn their attention to 2016, CrossTraining will join the organization in doing the same in relation to assessing the chaplain services provided for the last part of the 2015 season. CrossTraining Executive Director, Brad Kenney will look to hold a couple of meetings with Chaplain Kurt Trempert as well as with representative of the Switchbacks, in order to make some final determinations for CrossTraining’s work with the club going forward.
Director Kenney commented on the upcoming year-end meetings,
I have heard nothing but positive comments thus far on Chaplain Trempert’s work with the organization and I am excited to see what everyone in the room feels about moving forward – I have no doubts that God has been in this thing from the very beginning.
Please lift CrossTraining, Trempert, and the Switchbacks organization up in your prayers for these end-of-season meetings.
