Chaplain Trempert was working with CrossTraining on a trial basis that began in August and was contingent on good reviews from the Switchbacks and CrossTraining organizations, as well as an understanding of Chaplain Trempert’s own desire to continue. CrossTraining Executive Director, Brad Kenney, met with Chaplain Trempert last week to share with him the overwhelmingly positive reviews from many sides.
Director Kenney commented on his meeting with Trempert,
It was a tremendous pleasure to see Kurt become involved and even embraced a bit as the chaplain serving the Switchbacks organization. He has served well these past few months and has a vision for the off-season and next year. I am looking forward to seeing what God does through Kurt coming alongside this organization more fully and becoming more integrated into CrossTraining, as well.
With Chaplain Trempert joining CrossTraining, the ministry will incorporate servicing the Switchbacks organization with additional budget to cover the ministry expenses incurred by Chaplain Trempert as he serves the players, coaches, staff, and families of the organization.
